Optical brightener OB
Suitable for use in all types of thermoplastics, plastics and masterbatches. Used in polyester fiber, water based ink, printing ink.
Pale green powder, harmless, soluble in paraffin, fat, olefin and most organic solvents. Its spectrum can absorb a maximum wavelength of 375 nm with a maximum transmitted length of 435 nm (in ethanol).
OB is widely used in brightening thermoplastics in the form of PVC, PE, PP, PS, ABS, PMMA, POM and thermosetting plastics, polyester fiber, paint, coatings.
These are a series of universal organically soluble optical brighteners for use in a wide range of transparent and pigmented water-dispersion compositions. Gives brilliance and good whiteness.
